We’re looking to hire a Marketing & Project Support Executive to support Newcastle-under-Lyme BID in the delivery of projects in line with the objectives set out in the BID’s Business plan. This will be done by providing an operational, marketing, and administrative role, and working closely with the BID Manager, businesses and key stakeholders.
Established in 2015, Newcastle-Under-Lyme BID is a not-for-profit, non-political organisation set up and democratically elected by 307 businesses to improve Newcastle Under Lyme for all. These businesses pay a levy to fund the BID and its many projects, which include street cleaning, animating public spaces, boosting skills and training, and welcoming visitors to the city. Our levy payers cover a diverse range of businesses from the professional, retail, cultural, and educational sectors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop working relationships with partner organisations and agencies across the BID area with whom the BID relies for delivery of its business plan
- Work closely with the BID team to stay appraised of progress relating to the delivery of projects.
- Undertake face to face and remote business engagement with levy payers
- Handling email and telephone enquiries from businesses
- Support the production and distribution of publications and promotion such as leaflets, newsletters and eMarketing
- Provide a communications link between business and other stakeholders
- Assist with the updating of BID website and social media
- Liaise with BID contractors and suppliers on basic operational matters
- Manage the BID database ensuring it is accurate and accessible
- Monitor and report KPIs
- Maintain accurate project documentation and adhere to data protection guidelines and legislation
- Providing support to the working groups, coordinating meetings, circulating agendas and minutes and supporting the BID Manager in coordinating resulting actions and activity.
- Attend BID ran events to help support, promote and monitor.
