Over the last few years Newcastle has become a mecca for the Real Ale enthusiast.
As a traditional market town, pubs are still at the heart of the community in Newcastle-under-Lyme and we’re proud of the independent businesses that created that community.
While pubs have changed over recent years there has also been an upsurge in the quality and variety of Real Ales to choose from.
From the opening of the first independent pub in 2012 there are now a wide range of drinking establishments with something for everyone. Newcastle-under-Lyme BID is proud to showcase 8 unique and individual Real Ale venues that sit within its boundary here in this trail.
You can start at any point along the trail – just take your time!
