| Our refurbishment work is almost complete and we can’t wait to see people back at the theatre. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your support – we couldn’t have achieved so much without you.
To get a first look at the newly refurbished auditorium we’d like to invite you to visit us for Ghostlight – a short, five minute, evocative light and sound installation that will mark our reopening. You will get the opportunity to take a walk through our auditorium and celebrate the ‘ghosts’ of shows past, imagine shows in the future and take in the new surroundings of the theatre’s major refurbishment project which you, in no small way, helped us to realise. Our café is open, with social-distancing measures in place, so there’s also the opportunity to include lunch or drinks and a snack as part of your visit. The experience runs between Saturday 10 October – Saturday 31 October 2020 (excl. Mondays) from 10.30am – 3.00pm and is FREE to attend. Simply sign up for a performance slot when you visit the café. Each performance is approximately 5 minutes in length.
PS: We look forward to a proper ‘thank you’ in person, at the theatre, just as soon as we can. We are making plans for an event in November, which I am sure you appreciate will be meticulously planned and compliant with new rules and we would love you to attend.
