As part of the free town centre AstleyFest event on Saturday 7th August the Philip Astley Project and Appetite are joining forces with Newcastle-Under-Lyme BID to create the Astley Trail.
We are inviting local business to be a part of the Astley Trail with participants being provided with a circus prop free of charge to put on display in their window or inside their shop in time for the event.
Equipment will range from a ringmaster top hat, juggling equipment, hula hoop, diabolo, clown hats and more.
The Astley Trail will form part of a competition using a printed map which will be provided free of charge to event attendee and will also be available to view online.
This will form part of wider publicity for the AstleyFest and the town centre with a view to drive attendees to local businesses before/after the main event.
We ask that participating businesses display their item from the 7th August until the end of the month (or as long as possible) – you’ll even get to keep the prop! Props will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
