The BID, Newcastle-Under-Lyme Council and Jubilee2 are launching a new loyalty card scheme – the Love Local card – which is set to encourage more residents to shop locally and visit the high street.
Jubilee2 members will be issued with the Love Local card, which will give them access to discounts at participating shops, hospitality venues, businesses and market stalls. It is all part of a 12-month pilot scheme which will be given masses of publicity and media coverage.
All BID businesses are eligible to take part, and you will get window stickers, social media graphics and posters to spread the word. Most importantly, businesses will feature on the relevant websites stating where they are and what their offer is.
Please have a think about how you could benefit from the scheme. If you’re a local cafe you could offer a free coffee or tea for every five purchased, a package deal, 10% off for holders of the card – the deal is entirely up to you.
